A couple of important things came in after the newsletter and I need to pass them on. Sorry for the extra e-mail.
Thanks, Ryan Stencel, Vice-President Huffman/O'Malley Community Council
HUFFMAN ROAD DESIGN MEETING there will be a meeting on the Huffman Road design: Old Seward Highway to Lake Otis Parkway, next Wednesday, October 20th from 7-9 pm. A presentation will be made at 7:30 pm.

---------- POTTER VALLEY DEVELOPMENT An Assembly worksession concerning the withdrawal of Berggren's new subdivision at Potter Valley from the Hillside Wastewater Management Plan is scheduled for November 5 at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Any interested parties are invited to attend, although the worksession is scheduled to educate and edify the assembly members on the issue.
This request was denied by P&Z with a short board by a vote of 3:2.
While most homeowners on the Hillside prefer to continue to see large lot development, which is what Berggren wants to build at this location, we also have supply and contamination water concerns. Since the Hillside cannot have both large lots AND city sewer and water, we must look at this very closely with as much information as possible.

----------- ADDITIONS TO OCTOBER 21ST AGENDA The agenda for October 21st is revised to add: Community letter re: Rainbow Connection Therapeutic Riding Program
The following cases were also not included by excuse of overload and confusion...haha: -Case 2004-133 Rezone in Gregory Subdivision, including a forcible rezone against a property owner surrounded by the development. Awaiting scheduling before the Assembly.
-Case 2004-??? re: establishment of uniform procedures and case 2004-??? re: clarification of procedures. Final approval before Assembly on postponed to October 26.
-Case 2004-070 re: undergrounding of utilities. Hearing November 1.
-Case 2004-021 Master Plan Review re: parks, hearing December 13.
Sorry everyone, with all of the active cases these got lost in the shuffle, though the council is actively working on them.
Thanks and have a good weekend, Ryan Stencel, Vice-President Huffman/O'Malley Community Council
